Claire Bonnstetter knelt to adjust a small top hat on
the shaggy head of her dog, Snickers on Sunday,
shortly before the Davenport duo walked in their
first doggy fashion show.

Dressed in a black tuxedo with a red bow tie and
top hat, the blue merle Shetland sheepdog fidgeted
in costume. But with10-year-old Claire by his side,
the sheepdog confidently strutted before a crowd
gathered at 5001 N. Brady St. in Davenport for the

Benefiting Art Education at the Figge Art Museum
in Davenport, Iowa, Real Women & the Art of
Fashion featured models by Maxx Models &
Talent Agency and artwork by Quad Cities artists.

This theatrical production, depicting "real women"
from childhood to adulthood, included Sophia
Pike singing "Baby Be Mine" (left), Hope Plans
and Don Wilson "Singin' in the Rain" (right), and
the cast in the "Celebration" finale (below).
