It's About Us Too
One day a man asked me to describe Tiara Club. I told him that I plan special events
in the Quad Cities area for women to gather and dress outrageously, laugh out loud
and express themselves.

He said, "Oh, it's a male-bashing party," to which I replied, sweet as you please,
"It's not about you. It's about us."

In spring 2007 the first Tiara Club book,  It's About Us: A Collection of Writings About
Women's Relationships,  was published. Now it's your turn. Entries are being sought for
Guidelines:
  • Subject matter is limited to a true tale of how you persevered to overcome a
      negative situation by using your goddess-like strength and power
  • Maximum 2000 words (in Microsoft Word, use tools: word count)
  • Deadline for submission:  January 15, 2007
  • More than one piece may be submitted (include $10 for each entry)
  • Save in Word in Times New Roman with your name and story title at the top
  • E-mail as an attachment to tiaraclub@msn.com

  • Entries subject to editor's discretion
  • All writers will receive a complimentary copy of the book
  • Book Release Party date: TBA
